We hope that all our pages are informative and enlightening, these are not the only interpretations of the religion, culture and deities of the Sumerian people. We encourage further study in the matters if you find our information lacking.

DUR AN KI (Bound of Heaven and Earth)

We are made of the Earth, our physical existence binds us to the Earth. Our soul is of divine origin this is what binds us to Heaven. The above phrase is used for the closing of many rituals and ceremonies much as Wiccan's use "So mote it be".
